We took Sylvie to a golf course in west Marin that is being converted back to open space. It was 85 today so we had to wait un til 7pm for the long walk. Then we cruised around some streets on the way home, I’ve been meaning to get this Nissan Patrol that’s at a garage in San Anselmo for a couple weeks. Good thing it was still there. Some of these DOTS are just from the week, seems to be a lot of full size Korean SUVs around.

Panhard, right? love those, i assume they invented the panhard rod? Jay Leno’s garage has a vid on one. that power wagon is so awesome looking but pretty sure they have a punishing ride,I saw one up close once and those leaf springs look like they could carry the weight of a tug boat, it’s been pretty customized so maybe they took a few out to get a little more compliant ride

Yeah I actually talked to the guy when he swapped a new engine it, it’s really easy and is mounted on a bar in the frame up front. I have a 1952 power wagon, if you get new tires the ride isn’t bad. That red one was ruined, they put ugly wheels and some weird modern lights on it etc... horrible!
